Jun. 12th, 2006 11:49 amRight. So I was unmotivated and ill-tempered for much of the weekend. As such I more or less complained about everything and didn't have interest in doing much either, especially after prom really, really sucked.
The Nova Band show was absolutely disastrous, but in a sort of fun way. I shudder to think what the bands will be like next year without Brian around to be in like five or six of them in one night, because the band comprising entirely of freshmen this year played a hideous cover of "Kids With Guns" by Gorillaz and nothing else.
Plus half of the crowd was gone by 9 PM. The shows REALLY need good headliners because this is the first year where there wasn't one and it showed.
On the plus side, there was a Sci-Fi Life & Death + Isaac and Matt thing at the end where we mangled fragments of "Freebird" and "Sweet Home Alabama" and then played a song that was somewhat reminiscent of "Zombie Breakfast." So that was nice.
