I Tried to Watch Football

Mat: *Watches the game.*
Seahawk Guy: *Catches a touchdown pass but it's overturned because he pushed a Steeler half a step back*
Mat: ... but all he did was push him lightly.
Dad: *Sigh.* Yeah, that's a penalty.
Mat: But it's a contact sport. HOW is that... nevermind.

Half an hour later.

Ben Ican'tspellhislastnamesofuckhim: *Makes a touchdown despite the ball not crossing the white line.*
Dad: *Loses his mind.*
Mat: *Sighs and goes home. Gets on MSN and...*

Friend Online: That was too close to call.
Mat: The ball didn't cross the line. No it's not.
Friend: But his arm did, and..
Mat: His arm is NOT A BALL.
Friend: It was a really close call.

In conclusion, I don't understand football at all and I'm a sucker for getting sucked into the hype.
