mechamummyKing Kong was entertaining. Mostly because any and every action sequence went straight to eleven.
I mean, honestly. Peter Jackson was just like "let's take this scene and throw way too much shit into it." And it works. The whole movie is hysterical. It's cool, actually, but it's still hysterical because the guy has absolutely no restraint. The sailors and movie crew can't run from one dinosaur, they have to run from TWENTY apatosaurs and like ten velociraptors through a canyon and over a cliff. Thanks, Pete.
And Kong reminds me of Richard Nixon and I honestly have no clue why.
